To pursue artistic intention is not only idle, but also futile, since the project certainly will miss the immense complexity of art, whose routes of references can be beautifully described, but which must be opened up from the current contexts of their receptions. Furthermore, intentionology presupposes that art is dedicated to the mediation of matters, although everyone agrees that a reduction of art to any function is not acceptable. For art is capable of bringing together those who bring it about with those who accept it through intuition, a peculiarity that lets us commit inconceivable complexities and—unintentionally—makes every facet of experience comprehensible.
